Kidnappers are reportedly demanding a N30 million ransom for the release of five dredge workers attached to BEKS KIMSE Nigeria Ltd who were abducted on duty. According to reports, gunmen kidnapped the workers along the Opuama creek in Southern Ijaw LGA in Bayelsa. The dredging firm, according to sources, is currently heading a reclamation project in Opuama town, which is sponsored by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Husband, father of three reportedly kidnapped, killed by close friend

Tartseagh Boshien, the father of three who was kidnapped on his way to a wedding, died in a hospital in Makurdi shortly after he was rescued by local farmers, but not before he fingered his friend as the leader of the gang responsible for his death. Reuters – A Lebanese manager of a construction company was kidnapped by gunmen during an attack in which three soldiers were wounded, the military and a security official said Tuesday. Port Harcourt police rescue four kidnapped foreigners

Police in Port Harcourt say they have rescued four foreigners, from the Ukraine, Kiribati and Russia, who were kidnapped in a the Borikiri area of the city.
