Taraba’s Gov. Suntai is back and eager to work, but is he fit for office?

Taraba State’s recuperating governor, Danbaba Suntai is rearing to get back to work after suffering grave injuries in a plane crash last year. Governor Suntai is coming off a 10-month long medical treatment for injuries he sustained when a small aircraft he piloted crashed on October 25, 2012. INEC officially registers merged All Progressives Congress

The Independent National Electoral Commission has officially recognized mega opposition party, the All Progressive Congress. Nigeria’s Senate to revisit underage marriage clause

Nigeria’s Senate on Tuesday denied supporting girl-child marriages following public fury over its failure last week to amend Section 29 of the constitution, which deals with citizenship, but has a clause in subsection (4b) that indirectly endorses child marriages as legal.
