Local youths robbed Lagos plane crash victims

Local youths got in a brawl on Thursday over money they looted from the dead and injured victims of the Lagos plane crash on Thursday, witnesses say.

A guard at the gate of the property where the Associated Airline chartered plane crashed with at least 20 passengers and crew members on board told reporters that the local boys had first rushed to the scene to help rescue the victims.

However, they soon found money on the victims and a fight erupted over a share of the money.

One of the hoodlums, identified simply as Loko, was heard saying, “You won’t believe that after the whole rescue thing, we luckily found money and they don’t want to share it equally.”
