A hospital in China is taking a very personal interest in the fertility of its patients.
According to HugChina, Songziniao Hospital in Hubei province is encouraging pregnancy in couples with fertility problems by creating “sex wards” – red-lit rooms with sheer curtains that are going for 880 yan ($140) a night.

HugChina reports the rooms come furnished with a cushy sofa, round bed and erotic art. The hospital is also providing a helping hand in other ways, providing porn, sex toys and instructional tapes and videos to couples who want it.
According to the Daily Mail, Songziniao is also providing costumes for couples looking for a bit of role-play and sex eperts to answer plaguing questions and offer moral support.

The hospital’s efforts are geared at helping couple get pregnant. Why go to the trouble? Hospital president Wang Shengdong told HugChina: “Nowadays due to the deterioration of China’s ecological environment, people feel great pressure for survival.”
He added: “Some Chinese do not understand getting pregnant is also a technical job.”
