Nigerian student killed in road accident in Malaysia

SEREMBAN, Dec 8 (Bernama) — A Nigerian student was killed after the car he was driving was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry at the 7th mile of Jalan Seremban-Mantin near here Saturday, a police spokesman said.

He said the victim, identified only as Shadarach, 22, died on the spot from injuries to the head and body.

Shadarach was a student at a private college in Mantin and was driving from Seremban to Mantin when the accident happened at about noon, he said.

The 39-year-old lorry driver was injured in the forehead and was given outpatient treatment at the Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital here, he said.

Nilai Police chief Supt Mohd Yusoff Awang confirmed receiving a report on the accident and said Shadarach’s body was sent to the hospital for a post mortem.
