Top Nigerian musician Nneka has long received international recognition and on this stage at the V Festival in England she shows us why. The talented Heartbeat singer graced the stage alongside Roc Nation’s Rita Ora to thrill thousands of screaming fans with this RIP/Heartbeat mash up. RIP, a hit single by Rita Ora samples from Nneka’s early hit Heartbeat.

There was a bit of concern and controversy over whether the song was sampled with Nneka’s consent or knowledge. Either way, Nneka was certainly acknowledged on stage during the August 19 performance.
