This has got to be the best music video out there right now. Fresh, creative, very original and shot in the heart of Lagos, “Sisi Eko” from Darey featuring Flavour, is a total classic.

If that sounds like a lot of gushing dribble, it’s because the video and song leaves us in such a darn happy mood. Darey’s style of music mixes perfectly with Flavour’s highlife vibe in “Sisi Eko”.

Word is, it is a big budget video and was shot in May, with the cast and crew mainly from Lagos and South Africa. Darey and Flavour are caught in a traffic jam – typical in Lagos – when they spot a beautiful “Sisi Eko” and take turns wooing her.

You will love the choreography – rare in many Nigerian music videos these days – and the video is chuck full of style and vibrant African prints, courtesy of Woodin.
