NAN – The National Emergency Management Agency on Friday dispelled a rumour that an Improvised Explosive Device exploded in Garki area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Spokesman for the NEMA, Yushau Shuaibu, said in a statement that security and rescue agencies received an alert about the said explosion and raced to the scene.

Although it was found to be a hoax, he said they had nevertheless remained on the alert.
