Adele will soon add something else to her long list of accomplishments. The Grammy-winning singer has announced she’s pregnant.

The singer announced the news via her official website in a post entitled “I’ve got some news.”

“Im delighted to announce that Simon [Konecki] and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx,” she posted.

Adele was first seen with Konecki in January. He accompanied her to the Grammy Awards on February, where she dominated the competition, winning all six of the awards she was nominated for, including Album of the Year, for her blockbuster album, 21. She also took home the awards for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

That same month, Adele talked motherhood with People.

She told the magazine that she wanted to be a mother by the age of 30, saying “I really want to be a mum. I better start getting on with it!”
