Popular video director, Adetokunbo Odubawo, a.k.a. DJ Tee, has gone on a tweeting rampage vehemently defending himself against rumors making the rounds that he stabbed upcoming singer Osungade Tolani Alvin.
However, the singer, stage name Soji Boi, also took to twitter to insist that he was in fact stabbed in the face with a bottle by DJ Tee.
In the “he said, he said” drama that is currently unfolding in online media, it might be tricky picking out which story holds water.
This gruesome photograph of Soji Boi with a nasty gash to the side of his head is plastered all over the internet and begs the question: if DJ Tee didn’t do it, then who did?
An eyewitness, who reportedly witnessed the incident, told a version of events to the NET that casts DJ Tee in an incriminating role.
The eye witness said the bottle-stabbing drama started when the 19-year-old singer had turned up on DJ Tee’s set for video shoot.
Soji Boi had reportedly shown up with his siblings, Mobolaji and Dolapo, as well as Dolapo’s girlfriend.
According to the eyewitness, the drama started when Dolapo’s girlfriend, not part of the video shoot, disrupted the video director’s work when she remained on set instead of moving out of shooting range as DJ Tee had instructed.
A visibly angry DJ Tee had rudely screamed at her to get out, the eye witness alleged in the NET report. It got worse when Dolapo, rearing up in defense of his beau, mouthed back to the director, who in turn slapped him in the face.
The eye witness goes on to say that DJ Tee then had his boys not only beat up Dolapo, but his hapless sister as well, who screamed at the violence.
DJ Tee was reportedly going for Dolapo with a bottle when Soji Boi (Tolani) intervened. The bottle landed on the side of his face instead, leaving him with the terrible gash to the side of his face.
The video director is however denying this record of events and has spent hours on twitter telling every blogger and online media: “I did not stab anybody oooo!”

He also addressed a tweet to Soji Boi, saying: “@Sojiboi_we…. bro, I did not stab you… why are people saying I picked up a bottle and stabbed you with it on your face”.

Telling his side of the story, via tweets to a @Kbabaspeaks, DJ Tee explains that it was Soji Boi who instigated the bottle smashing incident:
“He [Soji Boi] was an extra on shoot I did today, it’s a long story anyway he smashed a bottle against hard metal above our head
“… the bottle shattered and cut me & him… broken pieces that was shatter around us
“… bro, that the honest truth”

He also denies rumors making the rounds that he was drunk on set. Tweeting @LadyLaide:
“… Pls stop tweeting false rumor, how can you [say] I was drunk at the shoot, I am not the drinking type & never been drunk on set”.
However, Soji Boi is sticking to his story that he was in fact stabbed by DJ Tee.
He tweeted:
