President Jonathan leaves for Belgium on Wednesday

President Goodluck Jonathan will on Wednesday (June 26th) depart Abuja on a one-day official visit to Brussels, the capital of Belgium.

The president will leave after the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the President would deliver a keynote address at the Summit of the World Customs Organisation in Brussels on Thursday.

He will also meet with the Nigerian community in Belgium before returning to Abuja on Thursday evening.

He will be accompanied by his wife, Patience; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru; Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga; Senator Dahiru Kuta and Mr. Chinda Ogundu of the House of Representatives.
