Beyonce and Jay-Z’s little Blue Ivy Carter named honorary citizen of Hvar, Croatia (Video)

Beyonce and Jay Z’s first child, Blue Ivy, already has dual citizenship and she is only five months old.

US Weekly reported that little Blue was named an honorary citizen of the Croation Island of Hvar, where Bey and rapper husband vacationed last summer.

In April, the notoriously private star couple, marked four blissful years of matrimony by releasing a slew photographs and videos, letting their fans in on their life together.

One such moment was a video of a pregnant Beyonce, showing off her baby bump in a white frilly two-piece bathing suit. She is seen standing next to a uniquely coloured tree.

“We woke up this morning, took a nice little walk, passed by this beautiful blue tree,” Beyonce said, pointing to it. “I think it’s Blue Ivy, which would be quite appropriate!”

The 15 second clip that revealed how little Blue Ivy Carter got her name has drawn much attention to the Island in Croatia, where her star parents vacationed.

“The story of the origin of the name of your daughter has brought enormous media attention and therefore tourist promotion to the town and island of Hvar,” Major Pjerino Bebic of Hvar wrote in a letter to the family.

“Because of this, I have decided to confer on your daughter the status of honourary citizen of the town of Hvar.”
