Gunmen have killed Hon. Adamu Degubi, a member of the Yobe State House of Assembly, representing the Ningere Local Government, reports said.

The unidentified gunmen carried out the attack at about 9 a.m. this morning, the Daily Trust reported, adding that he was killed at his Unguwar Tandari residence in Potiskum.

Yobe state police spokesman, Adamu Salihu, confirmed the lawmakers killing, telling the Vanguard that the police is yet to figure out those behind the killings or the motivation.

“Investigation is going on to establish those who killed him and why he was killed,” Salihu said.
