A suicide bomb attack at the Borno State police headquarters has left three dead, including two police officers and the alleged suicide bomber, reports said.
The suicide bomber was said to have driven a bomb-laden car to the police headquarters in an attempt to attack the building. Failing to gain access into the building, the car soon exploded killing the bomber and two others, eye witnesses say.
Six other people, including a woman, are reported to have sustained varying degrees of injuries, according to the Daily Trust.
There is a heavy police presence in the area as security operatives have cordoned off the area and are conducting investigations.
