
Nigerian singing duo P-Square went universal this week, signing a major deal with the Universial Music Group in South Africa.
Peter Okoye, half of the singing brothers, announced this via twitter on Thursday, shortly after the group signed the deal in Johannesburg.

UMG is the parent company for Akon’s Konvict Musik and Kon Live Distribution labels, who recently signed the P-Square in December 2011 as African representatives.
According to The NET, P-Square’s new deal is for South African distribution and will include past and current albums by the star singing group.
