A violent multiple car accident happened in the nation’s capital city of Abuja on Friday when Road Safety officials got involved in a high speed car chase with a taxi cab driver.
The accident left at least one injured, left road users in panic and caused a gridlock of traffic in the city’s busy streets. The taxi cab driver was being pursued by the officials. Desperate to evade capture, the commercial cab driver sped past a traffic light and collided head on with other vehicles at the intersection.
The Road Safety official fled the scene of the accident, according to Sahara Reporters.
