Rumour has it that talented Nollywood actress Funke Akindele is getting married on May 26. True or False?

Well, true… in part. The “Married But Living Single” star confirmed that she is in fact tying the knot, as the rumour mill claims, but her big day is certainly not May 26.

Her reps confirmed that “May 26 is only a family-traditional introduction. We however want it to be as private as possible.”

“A wedding proper will happen later on in December,” a rep at BigSam Media said.

Who is the lucky guy? Well, that part is not clear. The 35-year-old star is keeping her private life on the down low, not wanting to share too much of it with the eager media. Even her reps claim they don’t know the identity of the groom-to-be.

The Nollywood star has had much success in the Nigerian movie industry and is also a favourite with brands like So KLIN and Globacom.
