Nani Sokky
New up and coming Nigerian artist Nani Sokky, real name Naniagha Sokari, has released three new singles, all of which proves why this performer is set to make a mark in the Nigerian music industry.
The tracks, titled “Flamboyant Love”, “This Moment”, and “No Need” are off her forth-coming album, and each displays the Bayelsa-born singer’s raw vocal ability. Sultry singer and song writer Nani Sokky came on the music scene in 2008, when she released “Mr. DJ and gets her inspiration from established musicians like Toni Braxton and Dido.
Each song tells a tale of love without condition or regrets. “This Moment” is a slow tempo love song, but the other two tracks are more upbeat, modern but with a definite African edge to the sound, which keeps ‘em unique.
The singer promises the new album and music videos are coming soon, until then have listen to the tracks. “No Need” is my personal fave!
