Check out Golden Icons exclusive interview with Nollywood screen queen Uche Jombo. In her candid interview, Uche talks about her career, her work with Emem Isong’s Royal Art Academy, her trilogy Damages, and then she digs in.
The Nollywood icon addressed the ugliest rumour ever spread about her, the article that alleged she’d had a late-term abortion. Uche sued the writer and publishers of the horrid rumour, but admits she is still in court over the issue.
While she knows the case may not get resolved to her satisfaction, Uche says she is happy to have faced down the ugly rumour.
Uche also talks marriage, asking folks not to “drink panadol for her headache”. The star, who admits to having a boyfriend, still wishes people will stop bugging her about getting hitched. Uche also talks about her “Damages” star Tonto Dikeh, whom she calls a “slave to her work”, and her undying love for Terry G. All in all, a fun watch.
